Tackling a Large Format Cleaning Challenge

At Door to Door Cleaners, we love a cleaning job that tests our skills, whether that job is large or small. And when we say a large job we really mean it — even when “large” means a 20’ by 12’ theatrical backdrop for a concert performance.

This client called us at 1pm on a Thursday afternoon. They discovered stains and dark blemishes on what was supposed to be a pristine white stage backdrop. The concert was on Friday, and they didn’t have a lot of time. The production crew needed to know—could we turn the large format cleaning around in 24 hours?

Our crew never turns down a challenge so of course we headed out to collect the giant canvas. We got straight to work and delivered a spotless product. Stretching out the backdrop in our roomy production facility, we were able to review and clean the entire cloth at once. We repackaged the stage drapery and had it back to the client by Friday morning — an 18 hour turnaround. The venue was thrilled, and the concert went off without a hitch.
